Something a little different...
This is a story about a disfigured man who falls in love with a blind woman.
Suefic? No! It's The Man Who Laughs, a silent film from 1928 based on the novel of the same name by Victor Hugo, starring Conrad Veidt and Mary Philbin, and which apparently inspired DC Comics to create the Joker.
I can't do this beautiful, wonderful film justice in writing. Just watch the clip and bawl your eyes out.
